I enjoyed this experience. I ordered Cioppino, ahi tuna, bosco blu cocktail, and capri cocktail. The service was friendly and the food was great. I love the smokiness of the mahi in the main entree with the sauce and delicious bread. The bosco blu was my favorite cocktail of the night. I love ahi tuna and never thought to combine it with olives, that’s a brilliantly delicious idea. I do wish the cream underneath the ahi had a pinch of salt or something to take things to next level but overall everything was very good.

Decor is inviting, staff attentive. Pasta undercooked, had the spinach ravioli, lots of flavors competing, maybe focus on execution. Had the salted carmel gelato that was overly salty, even to a saltaholic!

I want to preface this by saying I ate at Otto and Blue shortly after being spoiled with food on a trip to Boston, where I enjoyed some of the best restaurants in the city. Otto and Blue did not miss a beat. From the moment we sat down, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel special. More importantly, the food was exceptional. I ordered the tagliatelle, while my partner had the pesto cream pasta, and both dishes were easily among the best meals we have had in the Triad in a long time. The pricing is right in line with what you should expect for high-quality, thoughtfully prepared food. I am always willing to pay a little more when something is done the right way, and Otto and Blue absolutely delivers. It also makes the experience even better knowing the owners are tremendous supporters and philanthropists within our community, including their support of Carolina Core Youth and many other local initiatives. High Point has been waiting for a delicious, modern Italian restaurant like this. Otto and Blue is the real deal. It's the only great Italian inspired restaurant in High Point!

Disappointing…My wife and have tried and tried to get reservations here since they have opened and we seemed to always pick a busy night when they were packed but last night their tables were wide open and now I know why they have lost their line. The food was completely underwhelming. I had the beef tenderloin which I ordered medium rare and it came out nearly well done and lacked seasoning and the bed of mashed potatoes had no salt. My wife had the mahi puttanesca. She described the fish itself as overcooked, lacking salt, and the rice lackluster. The best thing we tried was the she crab soup which can in a bowl that was almost empty, they’re stingy with the she crab. They don’t seem to be kid friendly as we weren’t offered a booster seat. My mom had the chicken Marsala and she said it tasted fine but came out room temperature. The atmosphere was great, we had a real candle on the table and the lighting was perfect for a nice meal. The presentation of the food had your mouth watering just wish the flavor was there to back it up. Dessert we tried the peach cobbler and key lime cheesecake. The peach cobbler had good flavor but was mostly bread and very little peach plus we had to w
